Outreach

Masks. Education. We use our financial and humanitarian resources to aid our community around us any way we can.

Meals on Wheels Project

This August, the Cypol outreach team worked on facilitating a beneficial partnership between Ascend, a Pan-Asian organization, and Meals on Wheels. Ascend was able to generously donate $20,000 to Meals on Wheels to support their initiatives. This connection was enabled by Angela Sandev, one of our dedicated team members, who put the two organizations in contact, provided key information, and ultimately saw the transaction through. This amazing donation would not have been possible without her hard work and Cypol is proud to have such a dedicated member on the team.

Our COVID-19 Mask Donation Initiative

Step 1: Reach Out

Establish connections with the ASCEND Foundation. Reach out to hospitals, nursing homes, food pantries, and small businesses in the NJ/NY area to determine if they are in need of donations.

Step 2: Secure Relationships

Determine how many masks each place needs, and respond indicating that we will deliver as soon as possible. Organize our team to deliver at each place. Coordinate deliveries.

Step 3: Delivery

Deliver masks at each location. Thank the healthcare workers that are risking their lives each and every day to protect our society.

Robotics Education

In the time of COVID-19, our outreach initiatives have not been halted. Throughout the pandemic we have been reaching out to local students in elementary school and hosting online lessons with introductions to various robotics opportunities available to young students. Using our own experience as students who have been able to pursue their passion through clubs in school and our own endeavors, we wish to guide young audiences to discover their own interests and use childhood as time to explore.
